This section details how Optii automatically adjusts tasks when an early departure is detected via the Property Management System (PMS).

Question Answer
How does Optii handle an Early Departure message from the PMS?

Once Optii receives a departure message from the PMS for a room that had a planned stayover:

1. The attached Stayover task assigned to that location will be CANCELED.

2. A new Departure task will be created and will remain UNASSIGNED.

Why is the new Departure task unassigned? The system does not automatically assume the new departure job should be assigned to the same Room Attendant, allowing the supervisor to assign the task based on immediate operational needs.
