Steps to Install the Opera PMS with Optii through the OHIP Interface

Opera OHIP Optii PMS Integration Guide (Hotel Chain OCIM/client credentials)

This guide outlines the steps to integrate the Opera Property Management System (PMS) with Optii using the Opera Hospitality Interface Platform (OHIP) for a hotel chain.

Step 1: Enterprise ID

- Responsibility: Hotel Project Manager/Leader
- Action: Provide your unique Enterprise ID.

Step 2: Chain Code

- Responsibility: Hotel Project Manager/Leader
- Action: Provide your hotel chain code.

Step 3: Opera URL

- Responsibility: Hotel Project Manager/Leader
- Action: Enter your Opera URL. This helps us identify your datacenter region.

Step 4: Business Events Configuration

- Responsibility: Hotel Project Manager/Leader
- Action: Configure the following Business Events. Consistent naming conventions are recommended for easier management:
  - External System Name: <CHAINCODE>OPTII (e.g., IHGOPTII)
  - External Database Name: <HOTELCODE>OPTIIDB (e.g., AUSHDOPTIIDB). Important: Each property requires a unique External Database. The External System can be shared across your chain and linked to multiple External Databases.
  - Housekeeping Module:
    - DELETE QUEUE ROOM
    - NEW OUT OF ORDER
    - NEW OUT OF SERVICE
    - NEW QUEUE ROOM
    - UPDATE OUT OF ORDER
    - UPDATE OUT OF SERVICE
    - UPDATE QUEUE ROOM
    - UPDATE ROOM STATUS
  - Reservation Module:
    - ADVANCE CHECK IN
    - CANCEL
    - CHECK IN
    - CHECK OUT
    - DELETE RESERVATION
    - JOIN GUEST
    - NEW RESERVATION
    - NO SHOW
    - REACTIVATE NO SHOW
    - REACTIVATE WAITLIST
    - REVERSE ADVANCE CHECK IN
    - REVERSE CHECK IN
    - REVERSE CHECK OUT
    - ROLLBACK CANCEL
    - SEPARATE GUEST FROM SHARE
    - UPDATE RESERVATION

Step 5: Interface Configuration & Connectivity Testing

- Responsibility (Configuration): Optii Implementation Manager
- Action (Configuration): The Optii team will configure the necessary adapter interface.

Post-Installation: Following the installation, we will verify that communication between your Opera system and Optii is functioning correctly.
