Preventive Maintenance Scheduling: Cycles, Dates & Projects

How do Preventive Maintenance cycle dates work?

Preventive Maintenance cycle dates can be updated, and the date shown in the project represents the start date of each cycle. Cycle schedules may also be aligned to quarterly periods for regional reporting.

How do I update a Preventive Maintenance cycle date?

To update a cycle date, provide the desired cycle dates for the current and upcoming periods. Updates can be made to reflect the schedule you want to use.

Example quarterly periods

  • January 1 – March 31
  • April 1 – June 30
  • July 1 – September 30
  • October 1 – December 31

Can a Preventive Maintenance project be deleted?

A Preventive Maintenance project can be finalized so no additional jobs are generated. Once finalized, new jobs from that project should no longer appear.

A project cannot be deleted entirely if it contains completed jobs that must be retained for data integrity.

What should I check before changing a cycle date?

Before changing a cycle date, confirm whether the updated date should align with the standard quarterly schedule used for reporting. If a different cycle schedule is preferred, provide the desired dates for the upcoming cycles so they can be updated accordingly.
