Release Notes 3.10.0, Week of May 27, 2024

In this edition of Optii release notes, we are pleased to share several new features and enhancements. Please continue reading to discover the highlights for this month!

Optii Integration with Infor HMS


Optii is now connected with Infor HMS! Starting with this release, Optii can display guest reservation information inclusive of guest name, dates of stay, VIP information, ETA, ETD, and more! This initial release of PMS information in Optii focuses on the Location Detail view. 


In future releases, we will support the display of more PMS data, including housekeeping and occupancy status and out of order information throughout Optii. We are so excited to bring this new feature to you. Please contact your customer success manager if you are an Infor HMS property to discuss the integration! 


Optii Integration with Bodhi


Optii Service and Bodhi are now integrated! This seamless connection allows our partner properties to seamlessly create Jobs in Optii via the Bodhi platform. Using Bodhi’s connected landscape, you can set thresholds in the Bodhi system to trigger work based on your property’s standards for things like temperature, equipment alerts, and more. This integration is yet another  advancement in our commitment to innovation.

Chat In-Line Translation Update



We are excited to announce a new enhancement to Optii’s in-line translation Chat solution: the ability to view original messages alongside their translations. This new feature builds on our existing auto-translation capabilities, offering a more seamless and transparent communication experience. By allowing users to toggle between the original message and its translated version, we aim to further break down language barriers and improve operational efficiency.


  • Better Understanding: Team members can see the original message to make sure the translation is accurate, helping everyone understand each other better.
  • Easier Communication: Makes it simpler for team members who speak different languages to communicate effectively and work together smoothly.
  • Helpful for Learning: New team members and those learning a new language can compare translations with the original message, making it easier to pick up new words and phrases.

Other Improvements and Bug Fixes

Enhancements

  1. Users can now remove previously saved jobs. Select the job, navigate to the edit view, and take advantage of this new feature. Please note, users must have the permission, ‘View All Jobs by Status’ to edit jobs. 

 

  1. Job Export Report - This export now includes above-property filters for those Optii users that are responsible for more than one property. The report maintains the same detailed information, now enhanced in line with our dedication to furthering our above-property functions. With this improvement, you have access the following new filters: 
    1. Organization Type
    2. Group
    3. Subgroup

  1. Checklist Export Report - With this report enhancement, users can now filter the Checklist Export by three additional parameters, listed below. 
    1. Department
    2. Assignee
    3. Location

Bug Fixes:

  1. Job actions are again translated to the user’s preferred language
  2. Fixed an issue where certain users were unable to send Chat messages
  3. Removed the flickering of screen when uploading or viewing jobs with multiple attachments
  4. Improved visibility of the team member list when editing jobs on certain mobile devices

Please note that Optii Platform, including Optii Housekeeping, now supports:

  • Android OS version 11.0 and above
  • Apple iOS version 15 and above
