We’re thrilled to share the latest updates in our monthly product release notes! This month, we’re excited to announce improvements to filtering features across various areas of the app, enhancing your ability to find exactly what you need. Additionally, our Location Detail View has been upgraded for better accessibility to job statuses and updates. Alongside these enhancements, we have implemented several minor improvements and bug fixes to ensure a smoother user experience. Read on to discover all the details!

Unassign Jobs on Projects 

As we welcome more customers and expand features in our Projects module to support your preventive maintenance or deep cleaning needs, we understand the importance of simplifying workflows. With the new Unassign Jobs feature, you can now easily unassign project jobs—whether individually or in bulk—in just a few clicks

  • Improved Workflow Management: Quickly adjust job assignments as priorities shift or resources change without needing to reconfigure the entire project or jump through hoops to re-assign or unassign
  • Bulk Unassignment for Flexibility: Unassign multiple jobs in just a few clicks, making it easy to adapt schedules and reassign tasks as needs change

Project Filters 

Now, it’s easier to navigate projects with new filters by departments and cycles, making project management simpler across multiple teams in your hotel. Whether you’re an Engineer Manager tracking preventive maintenance initiatives or a Housekeeping Manager managing deep-clean schedules, these filters let you quickly access relevant projects—no more endless scrolling. 

  • Streamlined Project Access: Filter by departments and project cycles to find relevant projects quickly, keeping you focused on what’s active and important
  • Enhanced Efficiency: Locate and manage projects in just a few clicks, saving time and improving organization across teams.
  • Easily Progress Tracking: Use the cycle filter to track where each project stands—whether it’s ongoing, completed, or upcoming.

 

Job Status Page Filter Enhancements

You have likely used the filters on the Job Status page many times to drill down to see only jobs for a specific department, role, job type, or to view past due jobs only. With this release, we are enhancing these filters in two ways: 

  • Introduction of a Job Source Filter: Now you can filter by guest and internal requested jobs. Choose which option you would like and the job status page will filter to just jobs of that source. Both guest and internal requested jobs will be shown if you do not use the filter. 

  • Job Filter Persistence: Once you select your preferred filtering options, those options will remain active until you log out or change them again. This persistence will be maintained even as you navigate to other areas of Optii and return to the Job Status Page.

Checklist Support for Service

We heard you! Checklists have become an indispensable tool for our customers, acting as a source of truth, training resource, and accountability tracker. With their diverse functionality and countless use cases, we couldn’t be more excited to announce that checklists are now accessible when adding a stand-alone job in the Service module! Now, you can easily attach a checklist to on-the-go requests or standalone jobs. Whether you’re verifying a junior team member’s work or managing a stand alone maintenance work order, Service has you covered

Notes: 

  • Your role must have checklist permissions enabled to access the checklist field selector when adding a job.
  • You’ll have access to all Checklists that were created from the Checklist Settings page.

Enhancements

  1. Chat Assist continues to improve, and we’re excited to show you! Please reach out to your Customer Success team if you would like to be part of our Early Adopter Program.
  2. Improved the performance of our repeating jobs and its list view.
  3. Reports are now alphabetized, making it quicker to find and access the data you need. 

 

  1. Location Detail View now has a Refresh button




Bug Fixes:

  1. Auto Assignment not working for Specific Monthly cadences.
  2. “Cancel” Actions buttons not being displayed with multilingual widget (Mobile Only).
