Learn how easy is to add new or edit your existing employment types in Optii
Available with any of the following subscriptions:
- Service
- Housekeeping
- Chat
- Projects (Preventative Maintenance)
- Guest Messaging
- Above Property Management
Step 1
Go to your Employment Tab located under General Settings to add or edit your departments
Step 2
To Add New Employment Type
- Go to the 'Add Employment Type' button located in the right hand side of the screen.
- Enter the name of the new employment type
- Enter the employment type code for example FT for Full Time
- Optional, you can enter an 'External Reference' for reading only purposes, and the Regular and Overtime Rules if applicable
- Once you finished click Save to add your new employment type

To Edit an Employment Type
- Go to the pencil icon to edit an 'Employment Type' button located in the right hand side
- Enter the new name of the new employment type
- Enter the employment type code for example CONTRACT for Contractor
- Optional, you can enter an 'External Reference' for reading only purposes, and the Regular and Overtime Rules if applicable
- Once you finished click Update to add your new employment type
Bonus Tip:
You can also delete an existing Employment Type. Simply click on the X icon located on the right hand side of the screen.
