In this lesson, you will learn about Optii Projects — Optii's dedicated project management feature that helps hotel teams plan, track, and complete preventative maintenance and operational projects across all departments.

Optii Projects focuses on initiatives related to all aspects of hotel management, from housekeeping and maintenance to front office operations, and everything in between.

Any task or jobs requiring a structured project to ensure compliance and successful completion can be managed through Optii Projects. This includes, but isn't limited to:

  • Housekeeping: Deep cleaning projects, room renovations, linen inventory and management.
  • Maintenance: Preventative maintenance schedules for equipment (HVAC, plumbing, etc.), repairs, and upgrades.
  • Front Office: System upgrades, guest service initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Sales & Marketing: Implementing new marketing campaigns, managing events, and tracking lead generation.
  • Food & Beverage: Menu updates, kitchen equipment maintenance, and health inspections.
  • Administration: Policy updates, staff training, and compliance initiatives.

This lesson focuses on the Projects tab, where you will learn how to monitor, review, edit, and assign projects.
