Multilingual Widget: User Content Translations

Optii's multilingual widget addresses a critical need for real-time translation of user-generated content for hotel teams, bridging language gaps to improve collaboration and productivity.

While Optii has long supported system labels in over 22 languages, user-created content—such as checklists, job items, notes, and assets—remained untranslated. This is no longer the case.

How to Access the Widget

The multilingual widget can be accessed by clicking the globe icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen. Simply click on your desired language and Optii will automatically update, notes, checklist and more.

Clear Communication for Everyone: Eliminate misunderstandings by enabling your team to translate dynamic, user-created content (like checklists, job items, and notes) into their preferred language.
Enhanced Collaboration: Whether it's a housekeeping checklist or a maintenance job, the widget ensures all team members are on the same page, regardless of the language they speak.
Expanded Language Support: Building on the existing support for over 22 languages for system labels, the new user-generated content translation ensures clarity for all tasks and jobs.

Important Information:

Returning to Your Default Language: To return to the language selected in your user profile (prior to using the widget), simply select "English" on the widget. Switching to English will bypass the widget's content translations and revert to your default language.
Search Functionality: While search inputs currently only recognize English, the search results will display in the user's selected language.
Translation Consistency: While the widget significantly improves transparency, occasional inconsistencies in translation formatting may occur with certain abbreviations.
