In this month's update we are beta-releasing two enhancements that we are excited to share with you! These items are: 

  • Introduction of an integration between Optii Housekeeping and Optii Service 
  • Availability of an SSO sign-in option for Optii Housekeeping

Coming Soon! Optii Housekeeping Seamlessly Integrates With Optii Service

Introducing the new feature - Optii Housekeeping can now create jobs in Optii Service. With this update, users can now leverage the 'report defect' functionality in Optii Housekeeping to create jobs in Optii Service effortlessly. Whenever a defect is identified and saved within Optii Housekeeping, a corresponding job will be automatically generated in Optii Service.

The generated job's hyperlink will be readily accessible within the Optii Housekeeping notes field in the Hub.

Additional Support for SAML Single Sign-On for the Optii Housekeeping Hub and App

We are thrilled to announce that the Optii Housekeeping mobile app now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality, streamlining the login process for enhanced user convenience and security. With this update, accessing Optii Housekeeping becomes even more seamless and efficient for our users.

To experience the benefits of Single Sign-On once it has been enabled for your property and user account, simply visit the normal login screen for the Hub or mobile app and click on the 'Log In Using SSO' option. From there, you'll be directed to enter your SSO Username and Password, and gain instant access to Optii Housekeeping. No more remembering multiple login credentials for different applications!

To enable the SSO feature for your property, please get in touch with your dedicated Customer Success Manager. Once activated, you'll have the flexibility to designate which users within your property can take advantage of Single Sign-On via their user profiles. This empowers you to tailor the SSO access to match your property's unique requirements and security protocols.


What Do You Have to Do Now?

On the day of the update, we recommend that all Hub users press the Control+Shift+R keys simultaneously on your keyboard. This will activate the update, giving you access to all the new features outlined above. 

We’ll take care of updating the Hub for you; however, we also do recommend that you always update the mobile devices to the latest versions from App Store® and Google Play®.
