🗨️ Chat Assist - Early Adopter Release

Chat Assist is Optii’s latest intelligent feature. It automatically detects job-related conversations in our Chat product and suggests creating the job to ensure nothing gets missed or misses out on being traceable.

  • Accountability: Chat Assist captures and suggests jobs in real-time, ensuring that no jobs slip through the cracks. This makes it easier to monitor who did what and when, without interrupting the natural flow of communication.
  • Automatic Job Creation: Chat Assist leverages natural language AI processing  to detect when a conversation might be related to a job and suggests adding one. Once Chat Assist detects a potential job, it prompts the user with an option to "Add Job," instantly mapping it to the relevant job type, location, action, and job item, as well as assigning department and role.
  • Reduces Manual Effort: By automating the job creation process, Chat Assist saves valuable time, allowing staff to focus on their tasks without needing to leave the Chat interface. This not only streamlines operations but also ensures that every job is accurately captured and tracked.
  • Functionality: Chat Assist is built around key components that help it understand and know when to suggest jobs:
    • Action: The type of task, such as Repair, Deliver, Clean, or Inspect.
    • Job Items: Specific items related to the job, like Towel, Toothbrush, or Shower Head.
    • Locations: The location where the job needs to be performed, such as Floor 3, Room 101, or Room 203.

🔎 Job Detail View Update


We are excited to introduce the new look for our Job Detail view. This view has been inspired by the existing view but has been enhanced to accommodate the upcoming display of PMS data.

 

To view the new Job Detail view, select a job card from either the Job Status page or Project Job Cycle page and you will see our new updates: 

  • All key details of the job are condensed at the top of the view 
  • Icons are prioritized at the top of the view 
  • Access and add photos and attachments more easily 
  • Click the grey box containing the location name to access the Location Detail View


🏢 Floor Plan Redesign 

We are introducing a more user-friendly and intuitive Floor Plan View with improved room type management for a simpler configuration process.

  • New User Navigation: We've redesigned the navigation to make it more intuitive, allowing you to access essential features with fewer clicks. 
  • Pagination for List View: Finding specific locations is now easier with the new pagination feature. You can navigate through large lists quickly, selecting how many items to display per page. No more endless scrolling—simply choose from 100, 200, or 300 items per page, as shown in the screenshot below.

Enhancements

  1. All new feature labels have been updated to be translated into the user's preferred language
  2. A user’s job view selection will now persist even when navigating away from the Jobs page. 
  3. Improved overall performance of the Optii Platform
  4. In addition to the new Job Detail view, we have revamped some of our existing icons. View the new icons below:

Bug Fixes:

  1. Addressed an issue where the system wouldn’t allow users to edit existing Repeating Jobs
  2. The activity log will now display the name of the user who updated the job
  3. Addressed an issue when editing the status of a job to ‘Done’, the location and department will now remain on the Job Status page
