Welcome to the release notes for this month! We're excited to introduce some fantastic new features, including a game-changing translation feature and a significant enhancement to our job activity logs. Read on to learn more about these exciting updates and more!
- Activity Log Enhancement
- New Translation Widget
New Activity Log Redesign:
We’ve revamped the Job Activity Logs in Optii to provide a much more detailed and transparent view of a job lifecycle. With this redesign, you can now track every aspect of a job with more granularity, ensuring no detail goes unnoticed.
- Job Deletion Tracking: Know exactly when a job was deleted and by whom, ensuring accountability and better historical tracking (At the location detail level).
- Detailed Action tracking: The new log captures precise updates across all types of actions in a job, see below to name a few:
- Due time changes: Captures every change to a job’s timeline, ensuring everyone is on schedule.
- Priority updates: Tracks priority changes from “High” to “Highest” so that important jobs are clearly identified.
- Job modifications: Logs every job field update, so nothing gets missed.
- Friendlier Redesign: The new design makes it easier to interpret logs. Actions are displayed in a clear, structured format, making it simple to understand what’s happened and who made the changes.
Multilingual Widget: User Content Translations
Optii's multilingual widget addresses a critical need for dynamic user content translations across hotel teams, bridging language gaps to enhance collaboration and productivity. While system labels in Optii have long been supported in 22+ languages, user-generated content like checklists, job items, notes, and assets remained untranslated—until now.
- Clear Communication for Everyone: Eliminate misunderstandings by allowing your team to translate dynamic, user-created content like checklists, job items, and notes into their preferred language.
- Enhanced Collaboration: Whether it's a housekeeping checklist or maintenance job, the widget ensures all team members are on the same page, no matter what language they speak.
- Support for Additional Languages: System labels already support over 22 languages, and now, user-generated content translation ensures nothing gets lost in translation for tasks and jobs.
Things to know:
- To return to the language selected in your user profile prior to selecting the widget language, simply select English on the widget. Switching to English will bypass the widget content translations and return to your default language.
- Search inputs still detect only English, though the results display in the user’s selected language.
- Inconsistent translation formatting may occur with certain abbreviations, but overall, the widget vastly improves transparency.

- Improved the performance of our repeating jobs and its list view.
Bug Fixes:
- Addressed an issue in which repeating jobs were intermittently not getting added to the job status page
