Optii is Now Available in the Google Play Store

Optii is now available on the Google Play Store! No more fussing with manually adding the Optii web tab to your Android devices. Now, with just a quick download, you can access everything Optii has to offer right from your home screen. It’s easier than ever to get started, stay connected, and keep things running smoothly. Here’s what to look forward to! 


  • Faster Onboarding: Easily download and set up the app with a direct Play Store link, making it easier to bring your team online.
  • Enhanced Notifications: Get faster, more reliable notifications with new layers of customization for tailored updates.
  • Performance & Integration: Optimized with Firebase for high delivery rates and smooth functionality across iOS and Android.
  • Reliability: No more lost tabs or switching back and forth—the app ensures seamless usability at all times


Introducing Optii’s New Job Cards

We are excited to announce the introduction of improved job status cards on the Optii Platform, following the recent integration of PMS features in previous releases. The redesigned job status cards provide a more dynamic and visually engaging experience while clearly presenting PMS data for PMS-integrated properties

Key improvements include:

  • The ability to display room status.
  • An option to collapse or expand multi-location job details.
  • More information is accessible from the card view.
  • One-click access to the Location Detail View.

From the new cards, users can still easily navigate to the Job Detail View by clicking on the job name or anywhere on the card. Users can now also access the Location Detail View by clicking on a location name. 

Improvements to the Job Status Page

The job status page has received several enhancements to improve the user experience. Firstly, the global navigation and column headers will now remain in place when scrolling, making it easier to access key functionalities even when navigating through long lists of jobs.

New Jobs View: My Added Jobs

We are excited to announce the launch of our latest feature: My Added Jobs! Managing and tracking your reported jobs just became a whole lot easier. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Simplified Task Management: No more sifting through the status page to check on the jobs you added.
  • Streamlined Interface: Access a user-friendly screen that presents all your added jobs in one convenient location.
  • Real-Time Progress Tracking: Know at a glance where each of your reported jobs stand, helping you to make informed decisions and prioritize your workflow effectively.
  • Enhanced Efficiency: This update not only boosts your productivity but also offers peace of mind, allowing you to concentrate on what truly matters.

To use My Added Jobs:

  • Make sure you have the 'Access My Jobs' permission enabled.
  • Once enabled, navigate to the Jobs page and select 'View: My Jobs' from the Jobs View dropdown menu.

Improvements to ‘Settings’ Navigation


In this release, we've introduced several improvements to the Settings menu:


  • Updated Order: The Settings menu has been reorganized and alphabetized for easier navigation. The default selection of ‘Users’ is maintained and will remain the first page you see when navigating to Settings. 
  • Easier Navigation: We've separated the General Settings and Notifications into distinct sections, making it more intuitive to access and manage these configurations.
  • New Permissions: To access the new sections above, two new permissions have been added - ‘Access Job Settings’ and ‘Access Notifications.’ Note: These permissions will be automatically updated for users with the existing "Rules" permission as part of this release.

Enhancements


  • We have made some updates to the top right corner of Optii. First, we've given the ‘Add Job’ button a new design, making it more prominent and easier to locate for quick job additions. Secondly, we have removed the bell icon.


Bug Fixes:

  1. Addressed the following Activity Log bugs:
    1. Issues where a location change in a job was not being logged.
    2. Issues where updates to job notes were not being logged.
    3. Issues where deleting a job would also delete all associated location detail logs.
