Dynamic Groups (Role-Based Permission)

Once enabled with the Dynamic Groups permission, this feature unlocks better, broader, and more powerful communication by enabling hotels to connect multiple team members in new and more flexible ways.

Name Private Groups

As the creator of a group, you can assign names to your conversations, making it easier to organize and identify discussions. Whether you’re coordinating with department leads or a team of VIP room attendants, managing group chats is now more intuitive.

Action Menu: As seen in the image below, the action menu provides key controls for managing dynamic groups within the Chat. Here’s a quick breakdown of the available actions:

  • Edit: Allows users with dynamic group access to add or remove members from the group, ensuring the right team members are always part of the conversation.
  • Delete: Enables team members with dynamic group access to delete the chat for everyone in the thread when the conversation is no longer needed.

Rename: Enables the channel creator to rename the group, making it easier to organize and identify conversations.

Read Receipts 

Easily track the status of your messages in 1-on-1 conversations, improving communication clarity and follow-up.

    We’re thrilled to bring one of your top-requested features to Optii Chat: the ability to share photos, videos,and attachments! Whether it’s a Maintenance team sharing an image of a broken fixture or Housekeeping confirming room setups with a quick video, this enhancement makes collaboration easier and more effective.

    🚀Above Property Controller - Job Management Dashboard

    We’re excited to announce the launch of the Above Property Controller Module, with the Job Management Dashboard as its first feature! This marks a significant step in delivering centralized, enterprise-level capabilities for seamless operations management across multiple properties.

    What is the Above Property Controller Module?

    The Above Property Controller is Optii’s first true above-property solution, designed to empower enterprise-level customers with frictionless operations management. Whether you’re managing a few properties or overseeing a large portfolio, this module provides a centralized view to streamline job management, dispatching, tracking, and completion across your entire organization.

    Job Management Dashboard 

    The Job Management Dashboard offers:

    • Centralized Job Oversight: View, track, and manage jobs across all properties in one place

    • Operational Insights: Simplify day-to-day operations with basic yet helpful KPIs, making it easier to manage multiple properties

    • Streamlined Job Handling: Dispatch jobs, track progress, and complete tasks efficiently, ensuring frictionless operations

     

    Key Functionalities

    • Add Job: Simplify operations with the ability to add jobs for any property in your portfolio directly from one centralized dashboard—no need to navigate to each property individually.
    • Property Selection: Select a property ensures the dashboard retrieves the property specific attributes, including job items, assignments, departments, roles, and checklists etc
    • Access Control: You'll only see the properties you have access to, maintaining proper governance and security
    • Improved Form: Enjoy a more streamlined and efficient job creation experience with enhanced usability

      • Filters: Narrow down jobs by organization, sub-group, property, status, priority, and more
      • Defaults: The dashboard will display all jobs added on the current day under the 'Added Date' 
      • KPI’s: The KPIs provide a quick snapshot of job statuses, types, and overall workload to help streamline property operations
      • View jobs by status: (Past Due, In Progress, Done, etc.) for quick progress tracking
      • Separate metrics: Separate metrics help prioritize guest-facing tasks while managing internal operations, ensuring nothing is overlooked
      Total Jobs:  KPI provides a clear snapshot of overall workload

      • Reporting Records: View job details like job ID, status, priority, guest details, notes and more.
      • Access Job Details: : Click on a job ID to view full job details related to job
      • Color Indicators: Quickly understand job progress and make decisions at a glance, streamlining job management across properties
      Sortable Columns: Easily sort every column to quickly navigate and narrow down your search, making it simple to find the jobs you need.

    Enhancements

    • Chat: Access All Team Members Permission: Allows users to communicate across departments and with anyone within the property without needing to be part of the department

    Bug Fixes:

    1. Android App not providing the option to take a photo or access photo library
    2. Issue affecting specific customers not being able to close jobs due to certain employment types
    3. Users being able to send direct messages to users outside of their department
