If a PMS Integration is available with our Optii Platform with any of the above subscriptions Optii will receive the guest reservation details directly within our system. This integration streamlines your workflow and empowers you with readily available information, enhancing efficiency and personalized guest experiences.

Here's a breakdown of how you'll access and interpret these details:

Understanding Shared Reservations:

A shared reservation refers to a single room or unit booked by multiple guests who may or may not be related. Our platform displays all individuals associated with a shared reservation, giving you a complete picture of the occupancy.

Displaying Shared Reservations:

When viewing reservations, you'll see all individuals included in a shared booking. Each guest within the shared reservation will be listed, ensuring no one is overlooked. This comprehensive view allows you to manage individual guest details within the shared booking context.

Sorting and Organization:

To optimize your workflow, reservations are sorted according to the following logic:

  1. By Status: Reservations are primarily sorted by their status. "In-House" reservations (guests currently checked in) are displayed first, followed by other statuses (e.g., "Arriving," "Departing"). This prioritizes your attention to current guests.

  2. Within Status (By Reservation ID): Within each status category, reservations are further sorted by Reservation ID. This ensures a consistent and predictable order, making it easy to locate specific bookings. The Reservation ID acts as a unique identifier, allowing for quick referencing.

Shared Reservations and Room Assignments:

When working with room assignments or other job functions related to a specific room, the platform intelligently displays all reservations associated with that room, including shared reservations. This means that if a room is shared by multiple guests, all those guests and their respective reservation details will be shown when you access information about that room. This eliminates any confusion and ensures you have all the necessary information at your fingertips.

Example:

Imagine Room 252 is shared by three guests: Samuel California, and Martin Alabama. When you view the details for Room 252, you will see all three names (Samuel California, and Martin Alabama) listed along with their individual reservation information, even though they share the same room.
