Step #2: Add or Edit your Departments

Learn how easy is to add new departments or edit your existing departments in Optii

 

Available with any of the following subscriptions:

  • Service
  • Housekeeping
  • Chat
  • Projects (Preventative Maintenance)
  • Guest Messaging
  • Above Property Management

Step 1 

Go to your Departments Tab located under General Settings to add or edit your departments

 

Step 2

To Add New Department

  1. Go to the 'Add Department' button located in the right hand side of the screen.
  2. Enter the name of the new department
  3. Enter de department code for example HK for Housekeeping
  4. Click 'Save' to Add the new Department

Optional

To Edit a Department

  1. Click on the pencil icon located on the right hand side of the department

  1. Enter the new name of the department followed by the Department Code
  2. Click 'Update' to save the changes

Bonus Tip:

You can also delete a department. Simply click on the X icon located on the right hand side of the screen

By following these steps, you can ensure your hotel operational departments are accurately reflected in your Optii platform, making it easier to manage your users, roles, jobs and more with Optii.
